Documentation Verification

Verification of Documents: Carry with you the photocopy of your 10th or/and 12th marks sheets, 10 + 2 provisional certificates. School Leaving certificate, migration certificate & four recent color passport size photographs at the time of admission. Also, carry the original documents of all certificates for verification purposes only.

Documents Required At The Time Of Admission

  1. EAST scorecard
  2. Admit card of EAST
  3. Seat allotment certificate / Admission receipt
  4. Migration Certificate (Original)
  5. Age proof certificate (Birth certificate/10th Std. admit card)
  6. 10th level pass certificate and marks sheet/ Grade card
  7. Higher Secondary / 12th std. pass certificate and marks sheet / Grade Card
  8. SC / ST / OBC /PH certificate (if applicable) from a competent authority.
  9. Character certificate in original from the head of the Institution last attended Original.
  10. Passport size photographs.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Criteria

For degree courses:-

The candidate must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 45 % marks in pcm/pcb) . Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination may also appear at EAST – 2020 provisionally.

For Diploma courses

– The candidate must have appeared/passed the final examination of 10 (Class- X) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 45 % marks.

For master courses:- The candidate must have appeared/passed the final examination of graduation or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 50 % marks.

Age Limit

Candidates whose date of birth falls on or (after 1st Oct. 1992) are eligible to apply for EAST – 2020

Pattern Of Examination

The entrance examination will be conducted offline consisting of three sections bearing equal weightage in terms of questions and marks. There shall be objective type questions.

The pattern of the examination shall be objective type based and there would be multiple-choice questions with four options, having a single correct answer (each correct answer carries four marks). The candidate is supposed to mark the right answer in the Online Portal.

3 Hours’ time will be provided for the same.

Examination Information

 

  1. The use of electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, etc. is not permitted in EAST -2020.
  2. Materials like log table, book, notebook, etc. should not be brought into the examination hall.
  3. Applicants must bring the admit card along with identity proof to the examination center.
  4. The candidates shall not be permitted to take the exam if admit card and valid photo identification is not presented.
  5. It may be noted that you should have specified one of the following IDs: Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID and Aadhaar UID or School / College ID Card
